Job Title: Pattern Master

Salary- 40-65k

Experience: Minimum 10–15years in garment pattern making (export-oriented unit preferred).

Proficiency in manual pattern making; CAD software knowledge Richpeace is an advantage.

Job Purpose:

To create accurate garment patterns based on design specifications, ensuring proper fit, construction, and production feasibility while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

· Pattern Development

o Develop first patterns from design sketches, tech packs, or samples.

o Ensure patterns meet size, fit, and garment construction requirements.

o Make pattern adjustments for different size ranges (grading).

· Sampling & Fitting

o Work closely with sampling and design teams during garment prototyping.

o Conduct fittings with models and modify patterns based on feedback.

o Ensure patterns are production-friendly to minimize wastage and improve efficiency.

· Technical Specifications

o Prepare detailed cutting and sewing instructions for the production team.

o Maintain technical accuracy for seam allowances, grain lines, notches, and markers.

· Coordination

o Collaborate with designers, merchandisers, and production teams for timely approvals.

o Communicate clearly with tailors and operators regarding construction techniques.

· Quality & Compliance

o Ensure patterns meet buyer specifications and quality requirements.

o Keep track of approved patterns and maintain an organized pattern library.

Requirements:

· Education: Diploma/Certificate in Pattern Making, Garment Technology, or equivalent.

· Skills:

o Strong understanding of garment construction and fabrics.

o Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

o Ability to work under tight deadlines.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
