Job Summary:

The Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Payment Posting team, ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely handling of payment posting and deposit confirmations. This role involves leading and managing a team of Payment Posting Specialists, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality service delivery. Communicate with the other department whenever needed. The Team Lead will act as a liaison between the team and upper management.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Supervise, mentor, and provide ongoing support to the Payment Posting team, ensuring that all team members are performing their duties effectively and in accordance with company standards.
  • Provide regular feedback, coaching, and performance evaluations.
  • Monitor team performance to ensure adherence to internal protocols and external regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss complex issues, process improvements, and any challenges the team may face.
  • Oversee the workload distribution among the team members, ensuring an equitable distribution of work and timely completion of tasks.
  • Send weekly deposit summary reports to the collections team.
  • Review and resolve any high level task and/or escalation from your team, supervisor, and/or client.
  • Pull the deposit reports daily/weekly from bank portals.
  • Pull weekly payment posting reports from the logs to post payment into the billing software.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and clientele.
  • Attend internal and client meetings, as needed.
  • Train new employees.
  • Perform additional duties as requested by Supervisor or Management team.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years experience in payment posting and claims processing.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Experience working with Payer portals.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Products including Google Workspace, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs.
  • Ability to navigate various technology and software tools.

Education and Experience

  • Graduation.

  • Experience as leading a team.
  • A track record of implementing process improvements that enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
