The Payment Team Lead will Lead the day-to-day activities. Offer support to both internal and external teams and ensure resolution of global reconciliation. Responsible for month end duties related to all aspects of accounts receivable functions. Provide guidance and development to direct reports through empowerment, teamwork, on-the-job assignments and projects.

What will you do:

  • Reconciliation Audits across the globe.
  • Experience with AMP portal, Oracle and all banking sites
  • Oversee daily productivity of the team, including monitoring the quality of work performed/audits
  • Manage team’s workflow and assign coverage for various activities due to prioritization, staffing, and required timelines
  • Ensure internal/external teams are trained efficiently and that consistent feedback and coaching are provided
  • Respond to escalated or sensitive inquiries or audits
  • Subject matter expert to provide support for other Avis Budget Group regions
  • Assist in developing new policies and procedures as needed, SOP’s
  • Compile data for management reports and regular departmental performance reports; regular 1:1 meetings with Supervisor/All Conduent teams
  • Perform standard supervisory duties for direct reports, training, time-keeping approvals, performance discussions and reviews if needed.

What we are looking for:

  • Associate’s degree in business administration, Finance, or other related field, or 4 years of related experience is an advantage
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment with fluctuating volumes of work, including delegation of work
  • Demonstrated history of accuracy and attention to detail, efficiency, and sound judgment
  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills and the ability to act with discretion and professionalism
  • Strong work-ethic and problem resolution skills are critical for success in this position
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, ability to navigate various PC systems
  • Knowledge of banking rules and regulations helpful; accounting experience
