Our Payments Analyst will report to and support the Senior Global Payments Manager with tasks such as managing chargebacks, conducting comparative cost analytics, implementing data automation, and providing field payments support.

Responsibilities:
You Will...

Ensure all financial schedules and deadlines are met, including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and audit requirements

Support the accounting department by performing monthly reconciliations and identifying the root cause of variances and imbalances, ensuring all card-related activities are accurately reported and analyzed

Monitor and manage chargeback claims, ensuring timely resolution and compliance with relevant policies and regulations. Utilize third-party systems to present required information on chargeback claims throughout their lifecycle

Complete token transfers for franchises, branches, and all acquisitions and sales. Support acquisition integrations to align payment infrastructures

Manage the Payments Support mailbox to assist with field and branch payment issues. Collaborate with collections, treasury support, branch managers, and other departments to resolve payment issues, facilitate refunds, and adjust payment applications

Be responsible for a deep dive of internal and external data to identify acceptance cost and solution opportunities across the payments supply chain, both B2B and B2C. Provide actionable recommendations and support findings with detailed comparative analysis, program performance analytics, and mathematical models

Lead data automation implementation and efficiencies for analysis through tools such as SQL Server and Power BI to consolidate and manage multi-vendor data

Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial processes, analytics, and reporting

Maintain confidentiality of all information, especially specified personal information, to preserve the organization's value

Work on special projects, ad hoc reports, and other duties as assigned. The Payments Analyst will serve as a backup resource for Treasury Operations as needed. These duties include responsibilities such as performing daily cash management, cash forecasting, and ongoing bank administration

Qualifications:
The Experience You Will Bring (Minimum Requirements):

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, mathematics, or a similar field

0-2 years of relevant work experience

Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word

Basic knowledge of finance principles with strong analytical skills

Knowledge of Power BI, SQL Server, or other automation tools is a plus
