Payroll Accountant

We are seeking a Payroll Accountant to manage payroll delivery for a portfolio of international clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in payroll processing and a good understanding of accounting principles. The role requires accuracy, professionalism, and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.

• Prepare, maintain, and update client payroll files and documentation.
• Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls accurately and within agreed timelines.
• Handle statutory filings, remittances, and payments in line with local requirements.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, employment regulations, and data‑protection guidelines.
• Monitor payroll deadlines and deliver assigned tasks on time.
• Support client invoicing and assist with onboarding activities for new clients.
• Participate in payroll‑related projects as required.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the payroll team.
• Attend client meetings when needed and maintain high service standards.
• Perform any additional tasks related to payroll operations.

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Accounting, or a related field
• (Accounting background preferred)
• Up to 2 years of experience in payroll within international companies or professional services firms
• Strong knowledge of payroll concepts and basic accounting principles
• Good proficiency in Excel (mandatory)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Good communication and stakeholder‑management skills
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
