Payroll Accountant

Sadat-Agro is a growing organization operating in the agricultural and trading sector, committed to financial accuracy, employee welfare, and operational excellence. As we expand our workforce in Qatar, we are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Accountant to join our finance team in Doha.

Position Overview
The Payroll Accountant will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely salary disbursements, compliance with labor regulations, and proper maintenance of payroll records. This role requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and a solid understanding of payroll systems and accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll accurately and on time for all employees
• Maintain and update employee payroll records, deductions, and benefits
• Ensure compliance with Qatar labor laws and payroll regulations
• Prepare payroll reports, summaries, and journal entries for accounting records
• Manage employee leave, overtime, bonuses, and end-of-service calculations
• Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Coordinate with HR and finance teams for payroll-related matters
• Support audits by providing required payroll documentation and reports
• Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in handling employee compensation data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–4 years of experience in payroll accounting or similar role
• Strong knowledge of payroll systems and accounting principles
• Familiarity with Qatar labor law and payroll compliance requirements
• Proficiency in accounting/payroll software and advanced Excel skills
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities
