Payroll Administrator (Remote – Cairo, Egypt)

About The Infinity Group

The Infinity Group is a London-based contracting service provider for the construction industry. We manage subcontractors' payroll, removing the risk of IR35 and employment law-related issues.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team. Reporting directly to the Payroll Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll while providing exceptional support to both clients and workers.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing weekly payroll from start to finish, maintaining payroll records, resolving payroll queries, and supporting various administrative and finance-related tasks. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills who is looking to develop a long-term career in payroll and finance.

Initially, the position will be part-time. There is potential for the role to become full-time as the business continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring weekly payroll and compliance are completed in a timely manner
  • Input, update, and maintain payroll data and records.
  • Respond to payroll-related enquiries from workers and clients.
  • Prepare and issue payslips and earnings statements.
  • Manage worker payments and direct deposits.
  • Maintain accurate worker records and documentation.
  • Reconcile payroll information and produce management reports.
  • Process new starter and leaver information.
  • Raise and manage invoices.
  • Register and maintain worker data within company systems.
  • Assist with payroll audits where required.

Requirements

Essential

  • Minimum 4 years of payroll or payroll administration experience.
  • Experience processing payroll in a high-volume environment.
  • Degree-level education.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Desirable

  • Experience working with UK payroll, CIS, or Umbrella payroll schemes.
  • Previous experience within payroll, finance, or accounting functions.
