Payroll and Accounting Specialist

Accounting Specialist – Lake County is seeking a full-time Accounting Specialist. The Accounting Specialist works under the supervision of the Lake County Business Services Director. The position performs highly responsible, varied and confidential accounting functions including accounts payable and payroll.

Prefer three years relevant work experience in accounting/finance department performing accounts payable and payroll related work tasks. College/University degree with emphasis in accounting/finance, or any combination of experience and education that demonstrates the ability to perform the job may be considered qualifying.

Full-time union position with benefits: paid vacation, sick & holidays. Medical, vision & dental insurance. PERS retirement. 37.5 hours/week, $4284.50 - $5478.00 per month salary range.
