What you'll do:


The Payroll & Benefits Administrator is responsible for managing and executing payroll processes and administering employee benefits programs. This role ensures accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with federal and state regulations, and effective communication of benefits offerings to employees.


Payroll Administration

  • Process bi-weekly/monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure proper documentation.
  • Handle payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with Finance and HR teams to ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation.

Benefits Administration

  • Administer employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
  • Serve as contact for benefits vendors and brokers.
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and claims.
  • Conduct benefits orientations and provide ongoing education to employees.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll and benefits regulations.
  • Prepare and submit required reports (e.g., ACA, 401(k), workers’ compensation).
  • Support audits and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Maintain HRIS and payroll systems, ensuring data integrity.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes.


What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in payroll and benefits administration.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Dayforce, Workday) and HRIS platforms.
  • Familiarity with benefits regulations (e.g., ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ACA).
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
