Payroll Executive

Position – Payroll Executive

Location – BKC, Mumbai

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Executive with of hands-on experience in payroll processing and compliance. The ideal candidate should possess excellent analytical skills, deep knowledge of payroll regulations, and the ability to manage end-to-end payroll activities accurately and timely.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and process end-to-end monthly payroll for all employees in compliance with statutory regulations.

Validate attendance, leave, overtime, and deductions to ensure accurate salary processing.

Maintain and update employee payroll records in HRMS/payroll software.

Handle PF, ESI, PT, TDS, LWF, and other statutory deductions and ensure timely filing and remittance.

Prepare payroll reports for management, finance, and audit purposes.

Coordinate with HR and finance teams for new joiners, exits, transfers, and salary revisions.

Address employee queries related to salary, payslips, taxation, and deductions.

Liaise with government authorities during inspections or audits.

Ensure timely submission of Form 16, investment declarations, and tax computations.

Ensure payroll processes adhere to internal controls, policies, and audit requirements.

Key Skills and Competencies:

Strong knowledge of Indian payroll laws and statutory compliance.

Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., SAP, ADP, GreytHR, Keka, etc.)

Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)

Good understanding of income tax rules and labor laws.

Accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle confidential data with discretion.

Educational Qualification:

Graduate in Commerce / BBA / MBA in HR or Finance or equivalent.

Additional certification in Payroll Management or HRMS will be an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
