Payroll Executive

Kestrel Education is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Executive to join our team in Lahore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring compliance with Pakistani labor and taxation laws, and handling statutory contributions including Provident Fund (PF), EOBI, and income tax deductions.

The candidate must have strong knowledge of payroll systems, payroll reporting, and compliance procedures, along with the ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all payroll operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Process monthly payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
  • Manage employee salary records, attendance, deductions, allowances, bonuses, and final settlements.
  • Handle Provident Fund (PF), EOBI, and income tax deductions in compliance with Pakistan labor laws.
  • Prepare and maintain payroll reports, salary sheets, and reconciliation statements.
  • Ensure compliance with taxation laws, payroll regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with finance and HR departments regarding payroll updates and employee records.
  • Prepare tax-related documentation and assist in annual tax filings and payroll audits.
  • Maintain employee payroll data and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Manage payroll software and HR/payroll management tools effectively.
  • Handle employee queries related to salary, deductions, taxation, PF, and EOBI.
  • Generate management reports (MI reports) and payroll analytics as required.
  • Ensure timely submission of statutory payments and documentation.
  • Maintain proper records of leave balances, overtime, and attendance data for payroll processing.

Requirements:

  • 2–3 years of proven experience as a Payroll Officer, Payroll Executive, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Pakistani payroll laws, taxation, EOBI, and Provident Fund regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with payroll software and HR/payroll management tools.
  • Experience preparing MI reports and payroll-related analysis.
  • Good understanding of labor laws and compliance procedures in Pakistan.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee data professionally.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
