Job Purpose

Supervises the operations of the unit to ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees, maintaining compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. This involves keeping detailed records, addressing employee inquiries, and collaborating with finance.



Job Responsibilitie

  • sDevelop the unit’s operational plans in alignment with the Section and Department’s operations plan and cascaded targets and identify the budget, annual manpower needs, and projects that are required to achieve these plan
  • sDevelop suitable policies and procedures for the unit and periodically monitor their application and effectivenes
  • sOversee, supervise, and enable direct subordinates to ensure they are able to perform their assigned responsibilitie
  • sManage activities related to recruitment, training and development, performance management, succession planning, and promotions of employees within the uni
  • tAlign periodically with the unit’s team and monitor their performance against operational and strategic objectives and KPI
  • sManage the operations of payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely payment for all employees in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements
  • .Maintain detailed and accurate records of all payroll transactions, including salaries, deductions, bonuses, and GOSI contributions
  • .Ensure payroll processes adhere to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements by staying up-to-date with applicable laws
  • .Address and resolve employee inquiries related to payroll, providing clear and accurate information
  • .Coordinate with the finance department to ensure payroll data is accurately reflected in financial records and aligns with HR policies
  • .Conduct regular audits of payroll processes and records to verify accuracy and compliance, identifying and correcting discrepancies as needed
  • .Manage the evaluation, implementation, and optimization of payroll systems and software to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • .Prepare payroll reports and analyses for top management, providing insights and data to support informed decision-making
  • .Manage the operations of initiatives and projects related to the payroll unit and monitor their progress and performance
  • .Prepare periodic reports on the payroll unit’s performance and achievements against the operational plan and KPIs
