Payroll Manager

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting/Payroll Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing accounting and payroll processes, ensuring accuracy in employee compensation, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. This position requires strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles, making it essential for the smooth operation of our payroll department.

Duties

  • Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Maintain employee records related to payroll, including hours worked, deductions, and benefits.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax documents and reports related to payroll.
  • Collaborate with the Human Resources department to manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes as they relate to payroll.
  • Utilize accounting software effectively to manage payroll data and generate reports.
  • Conduct regular audits of payroll data to identify discrepancies or errors and resolve them promptly.
  • Stay updated on governmental accounting regulations and changes in tax laws that may impact payroll processing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
