Payroll Manager - India

The Payroll Manager will ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll operations for employees across India, managing the end-to-end process through an outsourced payroll vendor. They will address calculation accuracy, statutory compliance (PF, ESI, PT, LWF, Income Tax/TDS), ESOPs and resolve payroll escalations.

This role works closely with Finance, HRBPs, and the external payroll provider to deliver a seamless monthly payroll experience. They will also drive continuous improvements in payroll controls, reporting, and data accuracy.

The People Operations team oversees end-to-end employee lifecycle processes and ensures a seamless experience across HR, payroll, and compliance. We partner closely with Finance, HRBPs, and business leaders to support a rapidly growing workforce across multiple locations in India. As we scale, the team is focused on strengthening payroll governance, improving data accuracy, and building efficient, tech-enabled processes.
