Skills & Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and statutory requirements.
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., Epromis).
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive data.
- Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP, etc.).
Key Responsibilities
- Process end-to-end payroll for all employees.
- Collect, review, and verify timesheets, attendance records, and overtime claims.
- Calculate salaries, wages, deductions, bonuses, allowances, and final settlements.
- Prepare payroll reports for management.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records (bank details, salary changes, benefits, leave balances).
- Handle payroll queries from employees and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Coordinate with HR regarding new hires, terminations, leaves, and contract changes.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and payroll regulations.
- Support internal and external audits by providing payroll data when required.
- Maintain confidentiality and safeguard all payroll-related information.
