Payroll officer

Job Title: Payroll Officer (Accounting Background – Mechanical Industry)

Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Officer with an accounting background and experience in the mechanical or industrial sector. The role involves managing payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, and supporting financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Process monthly payroll, including overtime, allowances, and deductions
Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data
Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
Post payroll entries and reconcile payroll accounts
Assist in month-end closing and financial reporting
Handle payroll queries and coordinate with HR and Finance requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2–5 years of payroll experience, preferably in the mechanical/industrial sector
Strong knowledge of payroll processing and basic accounting
Proficiency in Excel and payroll/accounting systems
High attention to detail and confidentiality Preferred

Pay: QAR5,000.00 - QAR6,000.00 per hour
