Payroll Specialist

Job Summary

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for managing and processing employee payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with company policies and local labor laws. This role also supports payroll reporting, reconciliation, and employee queries related to salaries and benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Maintain and update payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and salary changes
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies
  • Handle employee attendance, overtime, leave records, and deductions
  • Coordinate with HR and Finance for payroll inputs and approvals
  • Prepare payroll reports, summaries, and reconciliation statements
  • Manage end-of-service benefits (EOSB), settlements, and final dues
  • Handle WPS (Wage Protection System) processing and bank file submissions
  • Respond to employee queries related to salary, payslips, and deductions
  • Ensure confidentiality of payroll information

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field
  • Minimum 2–5 years of payroll experience (preferably in GCC)
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and payroll regulations
  • Experience with HRMS / Payroll systems
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced level preferred)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience handling WPS in Qatar or GCC
  • Knowledge of end-of-service benefit calculations
  • Ability to handle large employee databases
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills

Pay: QAR4,500.00 - QAR7,500.00 per month
