Payroll Specialist (UAE Experience Required)
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented HR Specialist with solid experience in the UAE to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of local labor laws and hands-on experience managing payroll, WPS processes, and employee settlements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law and company HR policies
- Manage and process payroll accurately and on time
- Handle WPS (Wage Protection System) processes, including salary transfers
- Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding procedures
- Prepare and calculate end-of-service benefits, gratuity, and final settlements
- Coordinate issuance of ATM cards for employees/labour staff
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation
- Support audits and ensure all HR processes meet regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum 5–6 years of experience in the UAE in Payroll itself.
- Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law
- Hands-on experience with WPS, payroll systems, and salary processing
- Experience in gratuity and final settlement calculations
- Familiarity with bank processes for salary transfer and ATM card issuance
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience working with HRMS/payroll software
