We are currently seeking a meticulous and dedicated Payroll Specialist to join our team. This Full-Time role, based in Dallas, Texas, United States, is essential to our operations, ensuring that our valued staff are compensated accurately and on time. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional who is passionate about supporting the vital work of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and process end-to-end payroll for all employees in an accurate and timely manner.
• Maintain payroll records by meticulously collecting, calculating, and entering data.
• Update payroll systems with new hire information, pay adjustments, and terminations.
• Address and resolve any payroll discrepancies and respond to employee queries regarding their pay.
• Ensure strict compliance with all applicable US federal, state, and local payroll and tax regulations.
• Prepare and submit detailed payroll reports on earnings, taxes, deductions, and leave.
• Liaise effectively with the Human Resources and Finance departments to ensure seamless and integrated processes.
• Assist with audits by providing relevant records and documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience working as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar payroll-focused role.
• A strong understanding of US payroll principles, laws, and best practices.
• High proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Exceptional numerical accuracy and a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
• The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience within a non-profit or human services organisation is desirable but not essential.
