As a
payroll tax reporting specialist, you’ll support accurate and compliant payroll tax reporting by researching and resolving routine tax issues, completing filings, and reconciling returns under direct supervision. You’ll work closely with payroll, accounting, and shared services partners, learning Progressive’s systems and tax processes while helping ensure employees and agencies are paid correctly and on time.
This is a hybrid position requiring two days in office each week at Progressive Headquarters.
Must-have qualifications- High School diploma/GED equivalent or higher and a minimum of 2 years payroll, payroll tax or analysis experience and 1 year customer service experience.

{OR} Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or Business Management and a minimum of 1 year payroll, payroll tax or analysis experience and 1 year customer service experience.
Preferred skills- Hands-on experience with payroll tax filings or reconciliations at the federal, state, or local level.

Experience using payroll or human capital management systems such as PeopleSoft.

Experience working with MasterTax to research, calculate, or file payroll taxes.

Previous work investigating and correcting payroll tax withholding discrepancies.

Exposure to year-end payroll processes, including W‑2 or W‑2C corrections.
Compensation- $49,000-$61,200/year depending on position level and experience
Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 16% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
