We are seeking a Payroll/HR Specialist to join our team in Portland, OR. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing payroll, maintaining employee records, and assisting with various HR functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for a multi-EIN company on a bi-monthly basis
  • Maintain accurate employee records and files
  • Assist with new hire onboarding and orientation
  • Writes job descriptions and recruits for positions across the company
  • Works with the HR Director to craft and write policy, SOPs, and train employees
  • Handle employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits
  • Collaborate with General Managers on employee engagement activities
  • Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in payroll and HR
  • Proficiency in payroll software and HRIS systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Willing to travel to locations throughout the Northwest as needed
