As a People & Culture Officer (C2) , you’ll support the effective delivery of People & Culture operations across the business. Working closely with employees at all levels, you’ll provide professional, proactive administrative support while managing multiple priorities independently.

About Your Team

The People & Culture team partners closely with the business to support employees throughout the employee lifecycle. From HR administration and compliance to employee relations and data reporting, the team plays a key role in ensuring consistent, compliant, and people-focused practices across ALEC. Collaboration, accuracy, and service excellence are at the heart of how the team operates.


Your Role

As a People & Culture Officer , you will:

  • Provide day-to-day People & Culture administrative support across the business
  • Manage, organise, and maintain accurate employee data within HR systems and databases, ensuring data integrity at all times
  • Respond to employee People & Culture queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Support employee relations activities and escalate matters as required
  • Ensure compliance with UAE labour laws, internal policies, and procedures
  • Prepare People & Culture reports and support internal and external audits as required
  • Support People & Culture projects and initiatives as assigned
  • Administer People & Culture policies, procedures, and employee documentation
  • Manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining attention to detail
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as required to meet business needs


What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Strong knowledge of UAE employment law
  • Experience working with HR metrics, data, and reporting
  • Excellent planning, organisational, and coordination skills
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment


Desirable:

  • Exposure to broader HR initiatives or projects


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
  • 2–3 years of relevant HR experience
  • Experience in employee relations and general HR operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
