B&C Care System Inc. is seeking an attentive and trustworthy Male/ Female Personal Care Assistant that can work a fixed schedule. This position requires someone who is able to travel between clients when needed. As a PCA you may be asked to see more than one client a day. B&C Care System Inc. interested applicants should be patient, communicative, reliable, have strong interpersonal skills, willing to learn, and be committed to making your client feel safe and comfortable.

Qualifications:

• TB test (annually)
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Ability to pass NC Health Care Personnel Registry check
• Ability to pass Criminal background check
• Strong Interpersonal skills
• Communicative/ Able to inform office staff of any issues
• Ability to lift more than 30 lbs (if required for client)
• Reliable
• Flexible
• Work weekends (when needed)
• Ability to travel between clients
• Ability to travel between cities
• Comfortable working in a home base setting

Duties:

• Provide services in accordance with the patients plan of care.
• Provide for the personal needs and comfort of the patient
• Offer compassionate care/companionship to the patient
• Limited help with prescribed exercises
• Assistance with ADL and IADL
• Assist with ambulation ( transferring client )
• Assist with self-medications (reminding client to take their medication)
• Performs Light household duties
• Meal preparation
