Job Summary:
The PCE Service and Training Specialist will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical training sessions on Pressure Control Equipment (PCE) operations, as well as training on PCE maintenance and repair, for NOV customers. Training sessions will primarily be conducted at NOV facilities, and in some cases at customer sites. When there are no active customer training requirements, the PCE Service and Training Specialist will support the WL PCE team by performing maintenance, inspection, and repair activities on both customer-owned equipment and NOV rental PCE equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITY & AUTHORITY:
- Deliver theoretical and practical training sessions on Pressure Control Equipment (PCE) operations, as well as PCE maintenance and repair, for NOV customers and NOV employees.
- Prepare and maintain training materials, including presentations, manuals, and supporting documentation.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage training schedules in line with business and customer requirements.
- Prepare, inspect, and ensure availability of equipment required for training activities.
- Conduct training activities in a safe manner, ensuring the safety of self and all participants, and adhering to NOV QHSE policies and standards.
- Provide structured feedback on equipment performance, recurring issues, and identified training gaps.
- Be available to provide technical support to customers as required.
- Support the WL PCE team with inspection, maintenance, repair, and testing of Pressure Control Equipment.
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with ERP systems for documentation, tracking, and reporting.
- Maintain professional and constructive communication with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, Logistics, Warehouse, and other supporting functions.
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping within the training shop and general work areas.
- Respond positively and professionally to business decisions made by line management that are in the best interest of the company and aftermarket operations.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the PL Operations Manager as required to support business needs.
BEHAVIORAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES & REQUIRED:
- Minimum of 10 years of field experience working with Pressure Control Equipment (PCE) in WL operations, including troubleshooting and minor and major maintenance activities.
- Proactive individual with strong planning, time management, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to perform remote troubleshooting for technical issues related to PCE.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) and strong computer literacy.
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
- Confident and professional when representing the company in person and through written and verbal communication with customers.
- Willing and able to work beyond standard working hours as required by operational demands.
- Strong task management, follow-up, and prioritization skills.
- Holder of a valid driving license, with the ability to travel to customer sites as required.
