PCS early career trainee, Repair Shop Engineer

Responsible for facilitating transactions, producing, assembling and delivering replacement/repair parts and equipment as part of a Services agreement or order.


Includes activities such as processing transactions, managing processes, material management, site operations, or warehouse logistics & shipping, sometimes in a shop structure. Includes craft & non craft labour as well as manager roles responsible solely for these activities. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Executes standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines. The role allows latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete tasks based on changing situations.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the daily service repair needs of customer equipment at the repair center.

  • Involves equipment repair, registrations, diagnostics, quotations, and parts ordering if necessary.

  • Facilitates transactions, produces, assembles and delivers replacement/repair parts and equipment as part of a services agreement or order.

  • Processes transactions, manages processes, material management, site operations, or warehouse logistics & shipping in a shop structure.

  • Executes standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines.

  • Responsible for equipment repair/check/preparation, follow up and traceability of repair and intervention files, and adherence to EHS rules and procedures.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering.

  • 0-2 years of experience.

  • Highly technical and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communications, listening, and interpersonal skills.

  • Can work independently with minimal direction.

  • High work standards, quality, initiative, motivation, planning, and organization.

  • Deep knowledge in electronics, pneumatic, and IT, with experience in life care solutions.

  • Proficiency in English.
