PDS Sales officer

Key Responsibilities

  • Vehicle Preparation & Inspection: Conducting pre-delivery inspections (PDI) to ensure vehicles are in pristine condition, cleaning vehicles, and ensuring a full tank of gas.
  • Accessories & Installation: Coordinating with the service department to ensure all customer-ordered accessories and add-ons are properly installed.
  • Customer Handover: Delivering vehicles to customers, which includes explaining vehicle operating features, warranty details, and necessary paperwork.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Processing final paperwork, including insurance, registration, and, in some cases, guiding the customer through finance options.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Following up with customers post-delivery to ensure satisfaction, addressing any concerns, and fostering referral business.
  • Coordination: Working closely with sales, service, and logistics departments to ensure timely delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous experience in automobile sales or a similar role in the automotive industry is often preferred.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to handle customer interactions professionally.
  • Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of automotive technology and vehicle features.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to vehicle inspection and document processing.
  • License: A valid driver's license is required.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree is often preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
