Pediatric Dental Assistant (Full or Part Time Position)

Rochester Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics is looking for a friendly, caring and upbeat dental assistant to join our growing team! We are dedicated to providing specialized care for infants, young children, teens and those with special healthcare needs.

We are a private doctor owned, non-corporate office. This position is ideal for an assistant with experience working with children of all ages and different capabilities. Training and mentorship will be provided.

Pay
Hourly rate starts at $20/hr+ based on experience

Responsibilities

• Set-up operatories
• Assist the dentist in exams and operative procedures
• Obtain radiographs and intraoral scans
• Seat patients, verify proper consents are obtained prior to dental treatment, maintain accurate patient records/ documentation including operative notes, and chart diagnoses
• Provide post-op care instructions to families
• Sterilize instruments properly
• Restock treatment areas and inventory

Qualifications

• BLS and CPR certification
• X-ray certification
