Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Dentist to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with children and adolescents, providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive environment. You will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing dental issues in patients from infancy through adolescence, while helping to create a positive and stress-free dental experience for every child.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive exams and evaluations tailored to children’s developmental stages.
  • Diagnose and treat pediatric dental conditions, including caries management, pulp therapy, space maintenance, and preventive sealants.
  • Perform pediatric extractions, stainless steel crowns, and other restorative procedures.
  • Provide nitrous oxide/behavior management techniques to ensure comfort and safety.
  • Collaborate with parents and caregivers to explain treatment options, preventive strategies, and oral hygiene education.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and state safety standards.
  • Work closely with dental assistants and team members to deliver a supportive and child-friendly experience.
  • Stay current with advances in pediatric dentistry and minimally invasive treatment techniques.

Skills & Qualifications

  • DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school; pediatric residency preferred.
  • Current state dental license in good standing.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Dentistry highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of growth and development, pediatric dental pathology, and preventive care.
  • Proficiency with dental software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar.
  • Ability to connect with children and families with patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with nitrous oxide and child behavior management required.
  • Commitment to delivering care that is compassionate, culturally sensitive, and family-oriented.

Pay: $1,000.00 per day
