Pediatric Dentist

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our privately owned pediatric dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality dental care and will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various dental conditions. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient care, as well as the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients 0-18 years of age.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
• Perform a variety of dental procedures, including but not limited to the scope of pediatric dentistry, crowns, fillings, space maintenance and extractions.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with dental assistants to ensure efficient patient flow and optimal care delivery.
• Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies.
• Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuous education and training.

Skills

• Proficient in dental fabrication techniques and procedures.
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy as it relates to dentistry.
• Experience or training in pediatric dentistry is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Dentrix dental office management software is a plus.
• Ability to perform four-handed dentistry effectively during procedures.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and data protection.
• Utilization of nitrous oxide, oral sedation and in office general anesthesia.

Pay: $250,000.00 - $350,000.00 per year
