We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Dentist to join our modern, patient-centered dental practice. The ideal candidate has a passion for working with children and creating a fun, comfortable environment that helps young patients build lifelong healthy habits. You will diagnose and treat dental conditions in infants, children, and adolescents—including those with special healthcare needs—while collaborating closely with our in-house orthodontist to provide comprehensive, coordinated care.

Your expertise in behavior management, preventive and restorative pediatric dentistry, and interdisciplinary treatment planning will be essential in ensuring a seamless patient experience from childhood through adolescence.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough oral evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for children and adolescents.
  • Perform pediatric dental procedures such as pulpotomies, stainless steel crowns, extractions, sealants, and space maintainers.
  • Collaborate with our in-house orthodontist to coordinate early interceptive treatments, monitor growth and development, and manage mixed-dentition cases.
  • Provide gentle, effective behavior management to ensure a calm, positive experience for every child.
  • Educate children and parents on preventive care, oral hygiene, and nutrition.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA and clinical standards.
  • Implement strict infection control protocols and maintain a safe, sterile environment.
  • Utilize digital imaging and charting software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic) for efficient workflow and patient management.
  • Stay current with advancements in pediatric and orthodontic integration, including airway assessment, early ortho screening, and growth guidance techniques.

Experience & Qualifications

  • DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
  • Completion of a pediatric dentistry residency program required.
  • Valid state dental license and board eligibility/certification in pediatric dentistry.
  • Prior experience in pediatric or family dental settings preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children, parents, and team members.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multi-specialty environment with orthodontic and general practitioners.
  • Commitment to continuing education, clinical excellence, and providing an outstanding patient experience.
