Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents. The Pediatric Nurse will be responsible for monitoring patient health, administering treatments, supporting families, and ensuring a safe and child-friendly care environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients as per hospital protocols
- Monitor vital signs, growth parameters, and developmental milestones
- Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and vaccinations safely
- Assist pediatricians during examinations and procedures
- Observe and report changes in patient condition promptly
- Maintain accurate nursing records and documentation
- Educate parents and caregivers on child health, medication, and home care
- Ensure infection control, safety, and hygiene standards
- Comfort and emotionally support children and their families
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and other departments
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma / B.Sc Nursing (GNM / B.Sc Nursing mandatory)
- Registered Nurse with State Nursing Council
- Pediatric experience preferred (Freshers may apply if trained)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and child-friendly approach
- Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency situations
