Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough pediatric assessments, including physical examinations, vital signs, and developmental evaluations to determine patient health status.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for children with acute and chronic conditions, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Administer vaccinations.
• Manage urgent care cases.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Athena Health for accurate medical documentation, coding (ICD-10, CPT), and case management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on discharge planning, family education, and follow-up care to optimize health outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control standards while delivering safe and confidential patient care.

Qualifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license with certification in pediatrics (Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification preferred).
• Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems including Epic, or Athenahealth; familiarity with medical coding (ICD-10), CPT coding; and documentation standards.
• Excellent patient assessment skills combined with the ability to triage effectively in urgent situations.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams including behavioral health specialists, physical therapists, and case managers.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations along with infection control practices to ensure patient safety and confidentiality.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
