Duties

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments, including vital signs, anatomy knowledge, and physiology evaluation to determine health status.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication administration.
• Utilize EMR systems like Epic, eClinicalWorks, Cerner, and Athenahealth for accurate medical documentation, coding (CPT, ICD-10/ICD-9), and record keeping.
• Participate in telehealth consultations and clinical research projects focused on pediatrics or family medicine to advance patient care standards.
• Potential help with medical research.

Qualifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license with certification in pediatrics or family practice from an accredited program.
• Proven experience working with children or within family medicine clinical settings
• Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner; familiarity with medical coding (CPT/ICD) is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, diagnostic evaluation techniques, medication administration protocols including injections.
• Critical care experience including ICU or emergency medicine is advantageous; Level I & II trauma center experience is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with telehealth technology and clinical research initiatives is preferred.
• Excellent patient care skills with the ability to perform physical examinations and vital signs assessments accurately.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
