Pediatric Physical Therapist Part Time

Overview
Join our small Therapist Owned Pediatric Therapy Practice where your expertise will make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your specialized skills in pediatrics, physiotherapy, and patient care within a supportive environment that values growth, collaboration, and excellence. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement tailored care plans that promote mobility, independence, and overall well-being for young patients across outpatient clinics, inpatient units, and home health settings.

Duties

  • Assess pediatric patients’ physical functions by evaluating physiology and anatomy knowledge to identify individual needs.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive care plans focused on improving mobility, strength, and coordination for children with diverse conditions.
  • Coordinate discharge planning processes to ensure seamless transitions from hospital or inpatient settings to home or community care environments.
  • Document patient progress accurately using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, maintaining detailed records of treatments and outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to families and caregivers on home exercises, safety measures, and community resources to promote ongoing patient development.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to pediatric physiotherapy.
  • Proven experience in outpatient pediatric clinics or school based environments.
  • Expertise in discharge planning, care plan development, and patient-centered care approaches for pediatric populations.
  • Experience working with diverse age groups including infants, toddlers, children with special needs.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and educate families about treatment goals

Pay: $60.00 - $75.00 per hour
