Position Summary

The Pediatrician will provide high-quality outpatient pediatric care in an urgent care and family medicine setting. This role involves diagnosing, treating, and managing a broad range of conditions in patients from birth through adolescence, ensuring each child receives individualized, family-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care for pediatric patients in an outpatient or urgent care environment
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions
  • Perform minor procedures and interpret basic diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.)
  • Collaborate with nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other clinical staff
  • Educate parents and caregivers on preventive care, nutrition, and child development
  • Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system and adhere to all clinical and compliance standards

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
  • Active Texas Medical License (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • Current DEA registration and BLS/ACLS/PALS certification
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills
  • Experience in urgent care, outpatient pediatrics, or family medicine preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $200,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
