Pediatrician (Inpatient and Outpatient) – Per Diem

To learn more about UCR Health, please visit: www.ucrhealth.org The Pediatrics department is seeking physicians in inpatient, outpatient, and mixed settings clinical practices in Riverside, San Bernardino, and Coachella Valley at UCR Health clinics and affiliate sites. Pediatricians supervise and/or perform a full range of professional work in primary care medicine involving the examination, diagnosis, and treatment of pediatric patients. They work collaboratively with other physician groups for patient care. Associate Physicians provide patient care activities under medical supervision where more difficult and complex cases are referred to Physicians. This is a Per Diem appointment. Per Diem Physicians are hourly paid appointees whose primary purpose is clinical service. These appointments have a variable schedule and cannot exceed 43%. These appointments may be on a pre-scheduled basis or as needed on a day-to-day basis as determined by the University. The full salary range for the Pediatrician is $51.43 - $131.89 per hour. However, the expected hiring range for this position is up to $120 per hour. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.

Possession of the education and legal requirements for the practice of medicine in California as determined by the California Board of Medical Quality Assurance.
