Summary

The Division of Neurology and Developmental Neuroscience in the Department of Pediatrics, Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children's Hospital (TCH) is recruiting a Child Neurologist for its Child Neurology / Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Transition Program. The academic appointment at Assistant Professor (tenure track), will be in the Section of Pediatric Neurology & Developmental Neuroscience of the Department of Pediatrics, Baylor College of Medicine.


The current Child Neurology / Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Transition Program is composed of one neurodevelopmental pediatrician and child neurologist seeing patients at both Texas Children’s Hospital and McNair within the vision of Adult Neurology. This position expands on this program to provide broader coverage for this important patient population as they transition from pediatric to adult medical care. This position includes outpatient clinics in both pediatric and neurodevelopmental medicine. Adult clinics will be at Methodist Hospital. Inpatient service in child neurology is also included. Back-up, night and weekend calls are also required. Rank and salary are commensurate with experience.


Position Qualifications:

  • Minimum Education: M.D. or equivalent.
  • Minimum Certification/Licensure: Licensed by the Texas Medical Board; obtainable upon hire offer
  • Board certified/eligible in Child Neurology
