Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care and Diagnosis:
• Conduct oral examinations and evaluate dental health in children.
• Diagnose conditions such as tooth decay, misalignment, gum diseases, and developmental issues.
• Develop treatment plans tailored to a child’s individual needs.
• Preventive Dentistry:
• Educate children and parents on oral hygiene practices, dietary habits, and preventive care.
• Perform fluoride treatments, sealant applications, and routine cleanings.
• Treatment and Procedures:
• Provide treatments such as cavity fillings, root canals (pulpotomy or pulpectomy), and crowns for children.
• Manage dental injuries like fractured or displaced teeth.
• Use child-friendly and minimally invasive techniques to reduce pain and anxiety.
• Behavior Management:
• Use psychological techniques to ensure children feel comfortable and cooperative during dental procedures.
• Manage children with special healthcare needs or anxiety.
• Orthodontic Guidance:
• Monitor and manage the growth and development of a child’s teeth and jaw.
• Recommend and manage the use of space maintainers or early orthodontic treatment when necessary.
• Hospital and Surgical Dentistry:
• Perform dental procedures under sedation or general anesthesia for complex cases.
• Collaborate with pediatricians or other specialists for comprehensive care.
• Record Keeping and Compliance:
• Maintain accurate dental records of patients.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and ethical standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Educational Qualifications:
• BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) from a recognized institution.
• MDS (Master of Dental Surgery) in Paediatric and Preventive Dentistry.
• Key Skills:
• Proficiency in pediatric dental procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Patience and the ability to manage children’s behavior effectively.
• Knowledge of sedation techniques and emergency management.
• Professional Licensing:
• Registration with the Dental Council of India (DCI).
• Valid state dental council license for practice.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
