PRIMARY PURPOSE:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pedodontist Dentist with at least three (3) years of clinical experience to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pediatric dentistry and a strong commitment to improving oral health outcomes for children in our community.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Provide comprehensive dental care for pediatric patients, including preventive, restorative, and emergency treatments.

Educate patients and families on oral health, hygiene, and preventive care.

Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and OSHA standards.

Participate in quality-improvement initiatives and peer reviews.

Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.

Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, including HRSA and UDS reporting requirements.

Participate in community outreach programs and oral health education initiatives.

Requirements:
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in the English language, with or without the use of auxiliary aids or services.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to endure short, intermittent, and/or long periods of sitting and/or standing in the performance of job duties.

Full range of body motion required. Position requires reaching, bending, and handling objects with hands and/or fingers, talking and/or hearing, and sight.

Exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and communicable diseases.

Ability to utilize standard precautions to prevent transmission of diseases acquired by contact with blood, bodily fluids, non-intact skin, and mucous membranes.

Accomplish job duties using various types of equipment/supplies, e.g. pens, pencils, calculators, computer keyboard, telephone, etc.

Ability to lift and carry objects weighing 25 pounds or less.

Ability to travel to other FoundCare locations and perform job duties.

Ability to travel to other locations to attend meetings, workshops, and seminars, plus travel to other FoundCare departments and FoundCare conference rooms.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
-
DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.

Completion of a recognized pediatric dentistry residency program is preferred.

Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in pediatric dentistry.

Current state dental license and DEA registration.
-
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first approach.
