Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of relevant experience, including at least one (1) year of experience working within a community-based organization. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.

Special Conditions
This is a grant-funded position. This appointment is contingent upon the continued availability of grant funds and may be terminated at any time without cause or prior written notice. There is no expectation of continued employment beyond the expiration date of the grant. This appointment is made subject to the laws of the State of Tennessee and the policies and requirements of the University of Memphis.
Work Schedule
Monday – Friday
8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

May need to work beyond normal schedule including nights and weekends.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk.

Job Duties

Manage and ensure accuracy of employee, donor, and program data across Salesforce and related systems.

Design, build, and maintain automation workflows, integrations, and system documentation.

Process and record donations (online, checks, direct deposit, PayPal, Race Roster, Facebook, etc.) ensuring compliance and accuracy.

Duties & Responsibilities
Develop reports, donor lists, fundraising campaigns, and mail merges to support fundraising efforts. Performs regular audits and quality control checks to maintain data integrity. Troubleshoots and resolves discrepancies in donor and gift records. Applies critical judgment to validate data and prevent errors that may impact donor engagement. Stays informed on industry best practices and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.

Support programs by creating contracts, managing forms, and maintaining clean applicant and participant data. Identifies opportunities for process improvement and automation within gift processing and data entry. Maximizes the use of tools, systems, and business practices to find efficiencies and expedite data input. Collaborates with IT and Peer Power leadership teams to implement system enhancements. Develops and documents standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.

Oversee system infrastructure, research tools, and provide technical solutions to support organizational growth. Provide training, guidance, and support for staff on using automated workflows and data systems. Ensures compliance with IRS and institutional policies. Collaborates with the donor success team to ensure that donors receive personalized and meaningful recognition. Maintains accurate records of receipts and acknowledgments within the advancement database.
