Job Description
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Automation Pega Tester to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for Pega applications. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Pega testing frameworks, Cucumber for BDD, and experience with UI automation tools like Playwright (good to have).
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain automation test scripts for Pega applications.
Implement BDD frameworks using Cucumber for functional and regression testing.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Perform integration testing, API testing, and UI automation where applicable.
Analyze test results, report defects, and track resolution using tools like JIRA.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.
Required Skills:
Strong experience in Pega Testing (functional and automation).
Hands-on experience with Cucumber and BDD frameworks.
Good understanding of automation principles and test design.
Familiarity with Java or JavaScript for scripting automation tests.
Knowledge of Agile methodology and SDLC.
Good to Have:
Experience with Playwright for UI automation.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and integration with automation tools.
Pega certifications (CSA/CSSA) are a plus.
