Pelvic Health Physical Therapist

Motion Physical Therapy is a private physical therapy group in St. Paul who believes in setting the community in motion. Currently, Motion has availability for a full-time physical therapist who specializes in women’s health or pelvic floor. This provider will work out of the St. Paul clinic.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Restores, maintains, and promotes not only optimal physical function but optimal wellness and fitness and optimal quality of life as it relates to movement and health
• Establishes treatment plan and provides treatment, considering discharge needs; expected discharge functional status; and appropriate equipment and supplies
• Educates, collaborates with, and conferences with patients, families, and other health care providers; making recommendations for referrals to specialists as needed
• Ability to manage patients with variety of backgrounds and personalities
• Knowledge of current and evidence-based treatment practices

Required Qualifications:

• MN Physical therapy degree (BS, MSPT or DPT preferable; OCS, FAAOMPT)
• Specialization in women’s health/pelvic floor is preferred but experienced and qualified therapists with a strong interest in women’s health will be considered
• Valid and current physical therapist license in the state of Minnesota
• Proven work experience as a physical therapist
• Intensive education and clinical expertise
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work in a highly functioning, fast paced team environment

• Fundamental understanding of healthcare policies/procedures
• Proficient with computer use
• Ability to speak, read and write English proficiently
• CPR/AED certification or willingness to become certified

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

• 40 hours per week Monday-Friday with some optional weekend or evening hours available occasionally

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
