About us: Hospital To Home LLC serves as the Commonwealth of Virginia’s premier transportation provider. Our services include ambulatory, wheelchair, and stretcher transport as well as Basic Life Support, Advanced Life Support and Critical Care Transports.
About the Role: You will serve as part of the H2H Human Resources team, providing a variety of administrative and recruiting tasks to support the efficient operation of our growing office. This position requires proficiency in office software and strong customer service and organizational skills to ensure smooth day-to-day operations within the department.
Key responsibilities may include:
Document Management: Filing, retrieving, organizing and maintaining physical and electronic documents.
Correspondence handling: Answering emails, phone calls and preparing routine letters and correspondence.
Data entry: Inputting information into computer systems and databases
Report preparation: Compiling, managing, formatting and analyzing reports using data from various sources.
Recruiting: Actively search for potential qualified candidates through job boards, professional networks, healthcare job fairs, and other recruitment channels.
Screening and interviewing: Review candidate applications, assess qualifications against job specifications and evaluate clinical competency through practical assessments when necessary. Conduct initial phone screens and in-person interviews to assess candidates clinical skills, emergency medical knowledge, ability to work under pressure, and compliance with required certifications (e.g.,m CPR, ACLS, NREMT).
Onboarding new hires: Collaborate with hiring managers to facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new employees. Preparing offer letters for new employees, assisting with orientation sessions, setting up employee accounts for access to UKG and TraumaSoft.
Relationship building: Establish and maintain relationships with local EMS agencies, medical schools, and professional associations to identify potential candidates.
