Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree. A minimum of five years of experience in project management to include establishing a project charter/road map, resource allocation, and monitoring performance and quality metrics. Experience in large-scale construction or capital projects preferred. Coursework or training in Project Management is preferred.

The Program Management Manager is directly responsible for managing the capital improvement projects and programs, their scope and life cycle as needed through the tracking, monitoring, workflow of assignments and documentation from planning and initiation phase through construction, ensuring adherence to project budget, and project closeout for major capital projects. An incumbent in this class is responsible for managing a team of architects, construction managers, contractors, consultants, and other professionals for all large capital projects that comprise their managed program portfolio; including establishing file structure, assigning access levels and implement security protocol to ensure proper project workflow, data collection and documentation throughout each project lifecycle; complete work journals and create reports in process and make necessary revisions to project expenditure requisitions; provide for proper project closeout, reconciliations, and documentation.
