Given this success in our existing markets, Shark Ninja has embarked on a bold plan for growing APAC business, in which India plays a critical role.


As we continue to grow, we are looking for a People & Culture Generalist to join our team. This role will be based in Bangalore, India.


What is the role?

The People & Culture Generalist is a hands-on individual contributor role supporting the India business across Talent Acquisition (50%) and People Operations (50%). This role will work closely with the Head of People & Culture, India, hiring managers, and external partners to ensure smooth hiring, robust HR operations, and compliant people processes. This is an execution-focused role suited for someone who enjoys owning outcomes, working closely with stakeholders, and operating in a growing, fast-moving environment.


What are the responsibilities?

Talent Acquisition (50%)

  • Support hiring efforts for India roles, primarily across Sales and Marketing all functions
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and hiring timelines
  • Support candidate sourcing, resume screening, interview coordination, and candidate communication
  • Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process
  • Support offer coordination, documentation, and onboarding handover
  • Maintain hiring data, trackers, and documentation within our ATS


People Operations & HR Administration (50%)

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing in coordination with payroll vendors, including data validation and monthly closure
  • Own benefits administration, including insurance enrolments, renewals, vendor coordination, employee queries, and claims support
  • Coordinate with external partners for statutory compliance and other applicable regulations
  • Maintain accurate employee data and HR records with high attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Support implementation of People & Culture initiatives, policies, and processes as the organization scales


What requirements are we looking at?

  • 3–5 years of experience in an HR Generalist or People & Culture role
  • Prior hands-on experience supporting recruitment activities (sourcing, screening, coordination)
  • Experience managing or supporting payroll processing with external vendors
  • Working knowledge of Indian HR operations and compliance (good to have)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Clear, professional communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Comfortable with operational, execution-heavy work in a growing environment
  • High standards of ownership, integrity, and confidentiality
