The purpose of Southwire’s College Programs is to provide valuable experience to students pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher. Our goal is to give students meaningful work that builds on what they are learning in the classroom. Our programs are project based. Students will receive a project at the beginning of the summer and present it in our project expo at the end of the summer. Our more than seven decades of progressive growth can be attributed to our determination to develop innovative systems and solutions, exercising environmental stewardship and enhancing the well-being of the communities in which we work and live. Location: Rod Mill
Develops and executes People & Culture (P&C) strategies and initiatives at a complex site/business unit that align with organizational goals and values. Ensures a strategic approach to P&C planning, policy development, talent management, and fostering an inclusive workplace culture. Partners with leadership and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to drive performance, growth, and compliance across all P&C functions.
Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
Years of Experience: 8-11 Years
Field of Expertise: Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP SPHR, PHR)
Minimum Education Level: Master's Degree
Specialized Degree: None
Licenses/Certificates: Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR)
Years of Experience: 12-14 Years
Field of Expertise: Manufacturing and/or Distribution; relevant industry experience
