THE ROLE

The HR Generalist is a pivotal member of our global HR team, serving as the frontline support for employees and managers across functions. This role acts as a crucial bridge, taking the strategic guidance from our HR Business Partners and collaborating with our centralized HR Operations team to ensure seamless execution of HR programs and policies. You will be instrumental in fostering a positive employee experience, guiding our people through key HR processes, and championing our company culture globally.

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE

Employee Experience & Support:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee and manager inquiries, providing guidance on HR policies, programs, and general HR matters.
  • Support the onboarding and offboarding experience, ensuring new hires are welcomed effectively and departing employees have a smooth transition, coordinating closely with HR Operations for necessary administrative tasks.
  • Guide employees through various HR processes, such as leaves of absence, performance discussions, and internal transfers.

HR Program Delivery:

  • Assist in the implementation and communication of core global HR programs, including performance management cycles, annual compensation reviews, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Help facilitate employee training sessions on HR topics, such as policy updates or compliance requirements.
  • Champion company culture and values, supporting initiatives that enhance employee well-being and a sense of belonging.

Liaison & Collaboration:

  • Act as a key liaison between employees/managers and the HR Operations team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of employee data changes, benefits enrollment, and payroll-related inquiries.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to understand business needs and support the execution of HR Programs across the business as needed
  • Provide feedback from employees and managers to HR Business Partners and HR Operations to help improve programs and processes.

Compliance & Administration:

  • Partner with Legal and HR Business Partners to translate new or updated labor laws and internal policies into actionable operational procedures and system configurations.
  • Support adherence to global and local labor laws and regulations, escalating complex compliance issues as needed.
  • Partner with HR Operations to facilitate completeness and accuracy of employee records and data.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within a global or multi-national company.
  • Solid understanding of core HR functions, principles, and best practices.
  • Experience working with an HRIS
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and interact effectively with employees at all levels and from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Google or Microsoft Office Suite tools.

WHAT ELSE WOULD BE GREAT

  • HR Certification
  • Experience with specific regional and local labor laws
  • Training experience or certifications in a curriculum such as DiSC
