Job description

Team Select Home Care is looking for a People Services Clerk to join our Team Select family.

The People Services Clerk (PSS) conducts orientation and onboarding activities for new hire and rehire employees within their assigned customer group. In addition, the PSS manages and updates employee files to ensure they are up to date and compliant. The People Services Clerk will report to the Director of People Services or Manager/Director of Operations.

  • Performs some or all of the following functional areas as assigned by HRM: HRIS, employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, and employment.
  • Assists HRM/ department in carrying out various human resource programs and procedures for all company employees.
  • Facilitates new hire onboarding and orientation program.
  • Maintains human resource information system records (ADP, E-File, HCHB, iCIMS, Relias, Docusign, and You Earned It), and compiles reports as needed/assigned.
  • Assists/performs background screening, pulling investigation reports, court records, reference checks and any other credential verifications necessary.
  • Coordinates performance review process for all employees assigned.
  • Coordinates equipment/device needs including setup and transitions to preceptor for documentation orientation.
  • Maintains the employee renewable requirements and proactively notifies employees/contractor/managers prior to expiration of HR documents.
  • Prepares or maintains employment records related to events such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions.
  • Conducts exit interviews and notifies managers of negative outcomes.
  • Coordinates with HRM on tasks pertaining to benefits and payroll.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality on patient, agency, and employee matters.
  • Prioritizes and plans work activities; Uses time efficiently.
  • Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills, Shares expertise with other.
  • Attains goals as agreed upon with the HRM.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Understand instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Work with multiple teams within an organization
