Position

Louis Vuitton is seeking a People Solutions Director for the Americas. This is a pivotal leadership role overseeing HR systems and championing HR data management, with the ambitions to empower our organization's HR teams, influence the business on people topics, and foster the best talent experience through technology.

The main responsibilities of this position include implementing global HR strategies locally, actively influencing global direction based on regional insights, and taking the lead on market-specific requirements. Additionally, the position demands a high level of interaction with diverse stakeholders at both local and global levels.

The role of People Solutions Director will empower our organization's HR teams, influence the business on people topics, and foster the best talent experience through technology while ensuring alignment with brand values.

Job responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

HR Systems (Core & Apps) Management:

  • Supervise HRIS project deployment and operations in the Americas, aligning with regional needs and global strategy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders for project visibility, and partner with IT for solution implementation and integration.
  • Activate global strategies locally, contribute regional insights, and lead HR system adaptation for market requirements.

HR Data Management & Integrity:

  • Serve as the primary custodian for HR data integrity, security, and quality in the Americas.
  • Implement and monitor data governance policies, ensuring compliance, and lead initiatives to improve data accuracy and completeness.
  • Drive effective use of HR data for trends and decision-making, act as the subject matter expert, and oversee access management and security.

Continuous Improvement & Quality Assurance:

  • Continuously evaluate and improve HR processes using HRIS functionalities, identifying optimization opportunities.
  • Ensure diffusion of standard procedures and educational actions, and lead training programs for HR systems and data management.
  • Participate in specifications, test scenarios, and functional acceptance testing, adhering to quality standards.


User Experience & Support improvement:

  • Provide first-level support for local users and liaise with the central support team.
  • Contribute to fostering a user experience culture, identifying needs, and coordinating solutions.
  • Ensure the propagation of best practices and educational actions, and facilitate the adoption of new technologies.

Profile

The ideal candidate will possess 10 years of HRIS experience, with significant exposure to HR data management and governance, preferably within HR technology or the luxury sector, in an international environment.

This role demands strong analytical skills, combining a global understanding of HR technology challenges with a keen attention to detail. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to solve complex problems, prioritize needs, and collaborate effectively with HR, IT, and Business teams, both autonomously and in a team setting.

Demonstrated capability to implement global strategies while influencing at a global level and leading on market-specific requirements is essential, alongside a strategic view combined with attention to detail and precision.

Excellent oral and written communication skills are required, with the ability to adapt communication to diverse audiences, and a perfect command of English, both spoken and written, is mandatory.

The appointed candidate will be offered an hourly range of USD $190,000 - $220,000, a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks and two retirement plans both with employer contributions.

The position requires 4 days per week on site in the Louis Vuitton Corporate Office, located in the heart of Midtown, Manhattan.
