PeopleSoft HCM Functional Consultant
We are seeking a Senior PeopleSoft HCM Functional Consultant responsible for hands-on functional configuration and day-to-day production support for core HCM and Payroll operations in a Higher Education community college environment. This is a purely functional, onsite role with emphasis on payroll continuity, operational stability, and PUM upgrade support.
The consultant will support and maintain PeopleSoft HCM modules including Workforce Administration, Employee Self Service (ESS), Manager Self Service (MSS), Benefits Administration, Payroll, and Commitment Accounting.
Responsibilities
- Daily production support
- Hands-on configuration
- Payroll processing support
- Year-end payroll activities, audits, and commitment accounting validation
Qualifications
- Excellent experience with the following PeopleSoft modules: Workforce Administration, Employee Self Service (ESS), Manager Self Service (MSS), Benefits Administration, Payroll, and Commitment Accounting
- Strong experience translating HR and payroll business needs into functional designs and specifications
- Strong experience leading functional testing for PUM releases
- Strong experience maintaining functional documentation
- Strong experience supporting integration with Finance.
- Experience working closely with HR, Payroll, and executive stakeholders.
- The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of PeopleSoft HCM functional experience, strong Higher Education exposure (California community college experience preferred), and the ability to work onsite in the Bay Area
